Red Gold, America’s largest privately-owned premium tomato manufacturing company, is hosting their Annual Red Gold Run to Crush Hunger. The event will feature a 10K run as well as a 5K run/walk and 1-Mile family walk. ​

 

Red Gold is passionate about helping local communities, and feels that with your support, together we will be able to affect the lives of those in need. All proceeds from the race are donated to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Morrisett Center Food Pantry to help with the fight against hunger!

Day of registration at the Elwood City Fountain will start at 8:00am and will end at 9:00am. You can also check-in and pick up your race packet during this time. Breakfast bars, bananas, water and juice will be available as a pre-race snack around the City Fountain!

The race routes will take you on a scenic route through historic downtown Elwood and on the outskirts of Callaway Park! The course will be a mostly flat terrain.

There will be a water station mid way through the course on 19th St. directly in front of the Elementary school.

Restrooms will be available inside the City Building along with port-o-pots in the parking lots.

Local EMS personnel will be onsite if needed.
